After studying law in Bonn, Ute Schormann expanded her legal knowledge first working as a research assistant at the University of Siegen. This lawyer specialised in family law joined the Schleifenbaum & Adler law firm in 1992.

Since then she has been advising and acting as counsel for clients in matters involving matrimonial and family law. In this area, she deals, among other things, with separations and divorces, issues relating to law governing maintenance, equalisation of gains, equalisation of pensions, parental and child custody. She also provides legal advice and acts as counsel before courts in cases involving paternity and maintenance of the mother of an illegitimate child. She is also a member of the DAV Family Law Working Group.

Ute Schormann, who is also a Specialist Lawyer for Medical Law, has an additional focus in the field of law governing medical malpractice liability. In addition to providing legal advice and acting as counsel, her tasks include drafting contracts in all her areas of practice.
