Dr. Florian Schell studied law at the Universities of Bielefeld, Trier, Orléans (France) and Münster. He joined the Schleifenbaum & Adler law firm in 2001. He was ultimately awarded a doctorate in law in 2005 at the University of Trier with his dissertation on the topic "Entitlement to police intervention or challenge to police authorisation".
As a Specialist Lawyer for Administrative Law, Dr. Florian Schell offers legal advice and coordinates approval procedures as well as commercial project development, including in the fields of construction law, plant and mechanical engineering and emissions control law, as well as legal support for ongoing projects in these fields. One concentration of his practice is to be found in the area of construction planning law as well as in support for project development and projects in the field of wind energy. Legal advice also includes drafting and concluding project and financing agreements.
Dr. Florian Schell is also a Specialist Lawyer for Construction and Architectural Law. Dr. Schell's practice in this field focuses on advising commercial construction companies and, in particular, on providing comprehensive legal advice to general contractors.
As a result of his expertise in the field of plant and mechanical engineering as well as project development, Dr. Florian Schell's work also includes advising companies in the field of plant and mechanical engineering.
Dr. Florian Schell supports international cases as well as M&A and due diligence processes on a regular basis. He has wide-ranging knowledge especially in the field of "international contracting", where he is able to draw on his many years of experience abroad and his special language skills.
Dr. Florian Schell is a member of the German-French Lawyers' Association, ARGE Construction Law in the German Bar Association and the Federal Association of Public Law.
